Why Have a PTA/PFA?

We also have committee members who have remained friends with the school after their children have left, providing hands on support and commitment for many years.

The PFA has two main functions.

  1. To help raise money to further enhance the education already provided for our children.
  2. To forge stronger links between our children’s home and school life. This is not only good for our children, but also really sociable for the grown-ups helping us create a strong and supportive school community.

School budgets at every school are tight; this means that the contribution made by the PFA each year is becoming more and more important when it comes to providing the very best facilities and equipment to enhance and broaden our children’s education.
