This year Beech class at the Infants, and Craft Club at the Juniors,have taken part in a competition to decorate a Christmas tree at Squires Garden Centre in Badshot Lea, Farnham.

Beech Class visited Aldershot Military Museum on Friday 11th November. The children observed the  2 minute silence in front of an exhibition which has a rare and original WWI Burberry trench coat, made in Hampshire and worn by an officer who lost his life at Ypres in 1917.  

We are delighted that the planting of our commemorative Hornbeam tree, with visitors from the British Legion, is featured on the front of the Farnham Herald.

This morning we held our Remembrance Service at South Farnham School where the children reflected upon the importance of the Armistice and read letters from fallen soldiers.

Last term we had a special whole school assembly to commemorate 100 years since the start of the Battle of the Somme.
