Never Such Innocence Poetry Competition

You may remember that Rebecca (6T) won the national Never Such Innocence poetry competition and attended the award ceremony at The Guards' Chapel in London. Rebecca read her poem beautifully, the whole audience were incredibly moved, so much so that she has been invited to The Passchendaele Centenary Exhibition taking place in Belgium during the last weekend of July – a once in a lifetime opportunity.

Never Such Innocence aims to engage the nation’s children in the First World War centenary through learning, poetry, art and music. Their Director of Operations wrote, 'We would love to have Rebecca with us at Passchendaele, she encapsulates everything Never Such Innocence aspires to do.'
