Commemorative Hornbeam Tree
South Farnham has been fortunate enough to be presented with a Hornbeam tree from a neighbour of the school.
The tree was grown from the seed of the only surviving tree in the Delville Wood, following the Battle of the Somme in 1916. The tree has been planted near to our Hornbeam tree which was awarded to South Farnham in a poetry competition about the battle.
