Outdoor Woodland Learning in Action

Our off-site Outdoor Woodland Learning (OWLs) visits for this term have begun!

At South Farnham, we believe that learning should not only happen in the classroom - we believe that exploring the natural world around us is a fundamental part of children's personal development.

Our off-site Outdoor Woodland Learning (OWLs) visits have begun nearby with a range of engaging activities that encourage the children to connect with the world around them.

The children had a wonderful time developing their collaborative and problem-solving skills whilst linking the learning from their classroom to the natural world around them.

This visit marks the first of many this term, by the end of which every class in the school will have embarked on their first off-site OWLs journey of this year.
