Why do people pray? - recap from last week. Discuss times when people might pray even if they are not particularly religious. Recap what a prayer is. Discuss how many people pray. Talk about how different religions pray, thinking back to your work on Islam last term. What do Christians do? Acknowledge that not all Christians pray in the same way. Task: Please watch this loom video: Watch video of ‘The Paralysed Man’ story from the Bible. Act out the story or draw a story board of The Paralysed Man and discuss how you would pray in that situation. |
